Hi, I’m Wendy and I am a licensed teacher with over 15 years in the classroom. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, a Masters Degree as a reading specialist and am the mom of a beautiful daughter.
The Educational Mom concept started several years ago with the birth of my daughter. Being a teacher, I recognized the need to get an early start with my daughter’s education. I know that there are crucial stages to early childhood development that begin well before a traditional school education begins. With that in mind I set out to find age appropriate books, games, videos and music that my husband and I could use to play and interact with our young daughter.
This website started as the result of the experiences we have had with many different educational toys, books, videos and music we have shared with our daughter over the past several years. Now, we have enlisted the aid of other moms who have educational experience to review the newest offerings on the market and try to help you understand where they may fit in with your child’s education.
